Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Beethoven and Beyond: Intertwined Winds and Piano. Our season opener will feature winds in a variety of ensembles, including Beethoven's famous quintet. Judy Dines, flute; Adam Dinitz, oboe; Thomas LeGrand, clarinet; William VerMeulen, French horn; Jeff Robinson, bassoon; and Rodney Waters, piano. You loved them last year-buy your tickets now!

British Chamber Music. Including works by Clarke, Vaughan Williams, and Elgar, whose transcendent piano quintet will be featured. Sophia Silivos and Oleg Sulyga, violin; James Dunham, viola; Barrett Sills, cello; Deborah Dunham, double bass; and Rodney Waters, piano. Rarely heard all-British music!
Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Classic Elegance. Mozart's piano quartet in G minor and Schumann's piano quintet in E. Featuring Sophia Silivos and Jennifer Owen, violin; Wayne Brooks, viola; Kevin Dvorak, cello; and Rodney Waters, piano. An evening of glorious melody!
Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Caplet and Debussy: Masques et Danses featuring Emily Mitchell, harp; Sophia Silivos and Jennifer Owen, violin; Joan DerHovsepian, viola; Christopher French, cello; and Eric Larson, double bass; with Justin Doran, narrator, reading Poe's "Masque of the Red Death." Sublime melodies!
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. It Takes Two to Tango: Dances for Two Pianos. Roger Keele and Richard Dowling in works by Brahms, Bolcom, and Bernstein. Be prepared for a scintillating evening!
Saturday, April 27, 2013. Rising Stars. Each season St. Cecilia sponsors a program by talented young chamber music students,this year from the Houston Youth Symphony.
Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Three, Four, and More! This glorious season finale features works by Mozart, Dvorak, and Schulhoff. Featured artists include St. Cecilia co-founder and bassist Deborah Dunham, HSO flutist Judy Dines, violinists Jonathan Godfrey and Oleg Sulyga, violist James Dunham, and cellist Barrett Sills.

Early bird special: If you purchase your season ticket by June 15, you will save 10% of
the season ticket price. You will still receive a free ticket to Rising Stars, plus the
two free single-concert passes.
